Automatically Identifies SmartQ Sensors
All attached SmartQ Sensors and their calibrated readings are
immediately displayed within the LCD screen (remote recordings) or graphically
displayed within the Sensing Science 3 software (Real-time recording).

Top
- Dramatically simplifies setup procedures for all recordings.
- Takes only seconds to set up a recording.
- Flexibility in remote recording situations.

|
Interfaces with either Mac or PC computer
The Logger is fully compatible with both platforms. The only difference
between the Mac and PC version is the supplied cable and software. Inexpensive
platform conversion kits are available.
|
Top
- Compatible with almost all personal computers.
- Great for schools that have both platforms.

Seamlessly and quickly conveys data to
the computer
During the process of real-time recording, measurements from all attached
sensors are immediately conveyed to a computer, and data points are
simultaneously tabulated and graphically plotted within the Sensing
Science 3 software package. The time required for students to receive
graphical information is reduced to seconds as opposed to hours or days.

Top
- Instantaneous experimental feedback motivates students and enhances
understanding of the phenomenon being investigated.
- Supports investigative science. The efficiency of the Logger enables
students to repeat experiments under varying conditions.
|
|
Collects data while fully disconnected from
a computer.
Measurements from all attached sensors can be continuously recorded
for a period up to 30 days. Remotely captured data can then be uploaded
to a computer at a later time.

- A superb tool for environmental fieldwork
- A classroom with a single computer can support multiple loggers.

Stores multiple data sets from remote recordings
The Logger and Advanced can both store multiple data sets. The exact
number of data sets the two models can store will depend on the average
size of the data sets. Typically the Logger will store up to 20 data
sets. The Advanced system has twice the memory and hence it will be
able to store up to around 40 data sets.

- Eliminates the hassle and time required to upload data after every
recording.

Can be used as a Smart Meter
Computers are not always readily available or necessary. The Logger's
built-in LCD screen and its ability to immediately identify and display
calibrated readings allow the logger to be used as an extremely flexible
meter.
|
Top
- Enormous potential savings since the Logger eliminates the need
to purchase traditional meters for pH, voltage/current, temperature,
...etc.
- Computer non-users will be able to benefit.

Internal batteries with fast recharger.
The EasySense logger systems are very power efficient and will operate
for several laboratory sessions before needing to be recharged. All
systems are equipped with a built-in fast recharger that will recharge
the units to 50% capacity within only an hour. A full recharge takes
12 hours.
|
Top
- Recharge batteries only when it's convenient. No need to bother
with power cords or outlets while collecting experimental data.
- No ongoing consumable costs as with disposable batteries

Six Sensor inputs with 12-bit data resolution.
Any combination of analog sensors (sensors that measure changes in
levels such as temperature sensors) and/or digital sensors (sensors
that record events in time such as light gates sensors) can be used
simultaneously.
|
Top
- Supports all types of sensors relevant to all areas of science.
- 12-bit data resolution provides superior measurement accuracy and
precision.
