Automatically Identifies
SmartQ Sensors
All attached SmartQ Sensors and their calibrated readings can
be immediately displayed on screen as either, numbers, bars, dials or
a variety of graph types.

Works with both Pocket PC's
and Hand Held PC's
The EasySense Flash Logger is fully compatible with both Pocket PC
& Hand Held PC. All that is required is either a Compact Flash socket
(or a PC Card socket and a low cost CF adaptor card.)
|
Top
- Pocket looks and feels like Windows, it even has Word & Excel
built-in: Your students already know how to use it!
- Great for schools that don't have access to PC's in labs.
- Superb for field work...

Stores multiple data sets
The EasySense Flash Logger stores data in the main memory of the Pocket
PC - many data sets can be stored for later analysis, printing or uploading
to a PC.
|
Top
- As data sets are saved as files (Just as you would on a PC) they
can be given descriptive filenames. No more remembering dates and
times etc..

|
Can be used as a Smart Meter
Computers are not always readily available or necessary. The Pocket
PC's built-in FULL COLOR screen and the Flash Loggers ability to immediately
identify and calibrate readings allow the system to be used as an extremely
flexible meter.
|
Top
- Enormous cost savings since the system eliminates the need to purchase
traditional meters for pH, voltage/current, temperature, ...etc.
- Non-computer users will be able to benefit.
|
|
No Batteries.
The EasySense Flash Logger draws it's power from the Pocket PC. Due
to the amazingly low power requirements of both the Pocket PC and the
Flash Logger, a single re-charge of the Pocket PC's built-in battery
will allow the system to run for many hours (Approx. 6-8 hours)
|
Top
- Recharge batteries only when it's convenient. No need to bother
with power cords or outlets while collecting experimental data.
- No ongoing consumable costs as with disposable batteries

Three Sensor inputs with 10-bit
data resolution.
Any combination of analog sensors (sensors that measure changes in
levels such as temperature sensors) and/or digital sensors (sensors
that record events in time such as light gates sensors) can be used
simultaneously.

- Supports all types of sensors relevant to all areas of science.
- 10-bit data resolution provides superior measurement accuracy and
precision.

Transfer data to
a PC for further analysis
Using the ActiveSync Application supplied with the Pocket
PC, Captured data files can be quickly and easily transferred to a PC
for further examination either in the PC version of Sensing Science
Laboratory or other applications such as Excel.

- Use Pocket PC's in the Science Lab to capture data, and then move
the data to the PC network for later analysis in the computer Room.
